Easy Fat Bombs Recipe the Perfect Sugar-Free Dessert
Low-carb Mint Chip Fat Bombs are a fantastic keto snack. I love eating them right after one of my easy workouts. I exercise for an hour a day by walking, weight lifting, or doing Pilates or yoga. Although not intensive, I have found this type of exercise very helpful in reducing inflammation. And this low-carb high-fat (LCHF) dessert is perfect for refueling after light or intense workouts.
Reducing Inflammation with a Keto Diet
Packed with healthy coconut oil and high-fat macadamia nut butter, these fat bombs are part of the Keto Diet which is great at reducing inflammation. I love eating keto desserts like this that are packed with coconut oil. Why? Because coconut oil contains medium chain triglycerides (MCT’s) that boost your metabolism and reduce inflammation in your brain. Now that’s a win-win!

Sugar-Free Dessert Recipe
If you are accustomed to eating sweets, you will want to use a bit of honey in this as it may not be sweet enough for you. I based this recipe on one by Diane Sanfillipo that contains a high-glycemic sweetener, but I eliminated it since I’m on a low-carb, high-fat keto (LCHF) diet. The recipe I’ve created here has no sweetener other than stevia, a very healthy keto sweetener that is widely used in low-carb diets.
