Keto Mint Chip Fat Bombs

Full of healthy fats, this easy Mint Chip Fat Bombs recipe has only 7 ingredients! These low-carb fat bombs are incredibly simple to throw together and perfect for holidays like Christmas and Valentine’s day when the sugar is flowing and you want to avoid it by eating something high-fat, healthy, and delicious. They’re so good though that we eat them all year long!

Keto Mint Chip Fat Bombs Recipe

All you need to make this easy sugar-free dessert recipe is coconut oil, coconut butter, macadamia butter, peppermint, dark chocolate, stevia, and salt. Throw these ingredients together and you’re on your way to the type of high-fat healthy eating that will keep your motor running all day.

Easy Fat Bombs Recipe the Perfect Sugar-Free Dessert

Low-carb Mint Chip Fat Bombs are a fantastic keto snack. I love eating them right after one of my easy workouts. I exercise for an hour a day by walking, weight lifting, or doing Pilates or yoga. Although not intensive, I have found this type of exercise very helpful in reducing inflammation. And this low-carb high-fat (LCHF) dessert is perfect for refueling after light or intense workouts.

Reducing Inflammation with a Keto Diet

Packed with healthy coconut oil and high-fat macadamia nut butter, these fat bombs are part of the Keto Diet which is great at reducing inflammation. I love eating keto desserts like this that are packed with coconut oil. Why? Because coconut oil contains medium chain triglycerides (MCT’s) that boost your metabolism and reduce inflammation in your brain. Now that’s a win-win!

    2. Stir mixture over very low heat until melted
    3. Stir in stevia, mint, and salt
    4. Refrigerate for 20 minutes
    5. Stir in chocolate
    6. Refrigerate for 5 minutes until mixture is firm
    7. Use a 1.5 teaspoon ice cream scoop to transfer mixture into mini muffin liners
    8. Refrigerate and serve chilled

    Sugar-Free Dessert Recipe

If you are accustomed to eating sweets, you will want to use a bit of honey in this as it may not be sweet enough for you. I based this recipe on one by Diane Sanfillipo that contains a high-glycemic sweetener, but I eliminated it since I’m on a low-carb, high-fat keto (LCHF) diet. The recipe I’ve created here has no sweetener other than stevia, a very healthy keto sweetener that is widely used in low-carb diets. In addition to a fabulous low-carb recipe, Keto Mint Chip Fat Bombs are a great dairy-free dessert. If you adore the combination of chocolate and mint like I do, you’ll want to check out these easy low-carb chocolate mint recipes!

This post is an oldie but goodie from the archives. I first published this recipe in 2012.

How to Choose the Best Plant for Your Bathroom

Content originally published and Shared from http://perfectbath.com

Decorating your bathroom with plants won’t just make it look prettier, it will also help freshen up the air inside. Find out which plant to buy as you continue reading below:

    Lighting and Humidity
The bathroom’s moist environment is generally good for plants. But you should choose ones that can cope with the room’s wide temperature fluctuations — warm when someone is showering and cold when it’s left unused for several hours.

And since many bathrooms receive low levels of sunlight, plants should be able to cope with that too.

In fact, the most important thing is to pick plants that suit the level of natural light in your bathroom, Unsworth says. They should also suit the level of care you’re prepared to give them. Ferns, for example, require far more care to survive than succulents do.

Tropical plants are a good choice for bathrooms since they typically can deal with less direct sunlight than other plant species. They’re designed to grow in a rainforest, beneath a canopy of trees, which makes them ideal for indoor environments. Source: Houzz

    Location
Bathrooms tend to be on the smaller side, so space for greenery is often limited. Large or tall plants don’t often work in bathrooms for this reason. A better option is to choose plants that can hang from the ceiling, or will trail down from a high shelf. The windowsill is another great location for bathroom plants, particularly as they can enjoy maximum light exposure here. Source: NaturalLivingIdeas

Forensic Analysis of Damaged SQLite Databases

by Oleg Skulkin & Igor Mikhaylov SQLite databases are very common sources of forensic artifacts nowadays. A lot of mobile applications store data in such databases: you can also find them on desktop computers and laptops as well as, for example, forensicating web-browsers, messengers and some other digital evidence sources. There are a lot of forensic tools on the market that support analysis of SQLite databases, for example, Magnet AXIOM, Belkasoft Evidence Center and BlackBag BlackLight to name a few. The tools can automatically parse some of these databases and even carve data out of free lists and unallocated space. Also they provide SQLite viewers forensicators can use to analyze this type of databases manually. Read More
